Schools that are located far from Perth may opt for a blended in-person/online learning model of the Masterclass Series.
The blended model of the Masterclass Series includes all components of the regular Masterclass course, however, with the option of taking two of the five professional learning days online via the Teach Well online learning platform. Read more about the Masterclass Series on the link below.

Who can apply?
- Teachers (both pre-service and in-service teachers); and teacher leaders, including senior admin staff, primary and secondary instructional leaders and HOLAs with classroom teaching responsibilities, in remote locations (greater than 3 hours of travel time from Perth only)
- Teachers and leaders that know that online learning can be rewarding
Course structure
- Practical Session 1, 4 and 5 in Perth with the rest of the cohort
- Practical Sessions 2 & 3 can be completed online, within 1 week of the scheduled PS 2 & 3 dates (one or both workshops may be completed online or in-person)
- The same deliverables, with a small additional submission task that replicates the demonstration requirements from the in-person workshop
Course requirements
- School leaders will need to provide a full day of relief for each practical session completed online, and some extra time for participants to connect with the Teach Well team when preparing deliverables
- At least 3 participants at the school completing the course together, or 2 colleagues if the school has already had participants complete the Masterclass in previous cohorts or years
- To ensure participants are able to seamlessly access our online learning platform and video content, they will require access to a modern computer with high-speed internet. Participants will also need to possess basic computing skills
